Washington State Ferries

The ferry between Anacortes, WA, and Orcas Island offers the opportunity to walk or drive on and is how most people get to Orcas.

There are multiple sailings per day and the WSF Save A Spot reservation system makes it easy to book vehicle reservations, which is highly recommended.

Kenmore Air

Offers four daily roundtrip flights from Boeing Field in Seattle or Paine Field in Everett.

    • Yes, vehicle reservations are highly recommended using the WSF Save A Spot system.

      Ferry walk-ons don't require reservations.

    • While we’d recommend a car, once you’re in the town of Eastsound you can get to all of the venues on foot.

      If you fly Kenmore Air you can walk directly into Eastsound from the airport.

      There is also a taxi service on island which can get you into town.

    • 30% of ferry reservations are released 2 months before the sail date;
      30% of ferry reservations are released 2 weeks before the sail date;
      30% of ferry reservations are released 2 days before the sail date at 7am PST.
